A Day Without Words.

What can I say? We all remember what happened 14 years ago. We watched the horror. I can add nothing to the narrative, except to say:

Give a loved one an extra hug.

Do a favour for a stranger.

And remember. For those lost, and for those yet to be born, never forget that terrible day.

  1. Nice words Ohio. How have you been?

    • Though I really don’t care for the new word, it expresses both my physical and mental condition over the past 8 months.

      “Meh…” 🙂

    • You know, while the words are lacking, there is a number you reminded me to post.

      343. Three hundred and forty three. The number of firefighters who rain into the towers as people ran out, and never made it home to their loved ones. Along with 37 police officers of the Port Authority, 23 police officers of the NYPD, and 8 emergency medical technicians and paramedics from private emergency medical services. All those brave souls, who served, and lost their lives, for all the rest of us.

But for you and I, 343 has a somewhat stronger impact.

  2. Archon's Den says:

Well remembered and written John! Come out and play more often. I might even hug an Amish. 🙂
